My Obsession #1 Last of the Mohicans






I'm showing my age, I know, but this film will forever hold a special place in my heart. There is something magical about the intensity of the relationship between Hawkeye and Cora. Two opposites who find a love so all-encompassing that he will do anything and everything it takes to keep her safe.

In Silver Moon, my characters are opposites - a shy, sheltered schoolteacher and a wolf shifter who has done terrible things for his pack. Kirk's determination to do anything for Silver was inspired by that immortal line Daniel Day Lewis delivers with such heart-rending intensity "I will find you."

    All I can think about is my American Literature teacher looking disdainfully at the LOTM poster on his wall (he let the students decorate the walls) and saying, "Natty Bumppo would never touch a breast" (LOL).
